Artist Statement: As a child I spent most weekends boating with my family on the Swan River. Water to me is meditating & calming I’m always mesmerised by its beauty. Walking my dog by the river one day soaking up the views & fresh air I saw the City of Perth Yacht race it bought back many childhood memories. This was the inspiration for my painting.
