  •   Penny Shaw was born in England where her artwork was primary pencil and charcoal based. Penny was not inspired to paint until moving to Western Australia in the late 1990s, where she has been captivated by the quality of the light and the vibrancy of the colours. As a mother of four she has gravitated to painting children, initially as components of the landscape and after a recent study trip back to Europe, children's portraits. She aims to create a unique portrait that captures the essence of the child. Whether a simple head and shoulders or a landscape with your child pictured enjoying the great Australian outdoors, a portrait in oils is something that should remain in the family, to be passed on and enjoyed by future generations.   . . . more
