Myra started painting after designing and making jewellery for 10 years, inspired by her love of colour, fashion and texture she works intuitively with palette and brush using the spectrum to create an experience of emotion and movement.
Born and educated in Melbourne. Trained as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Travelled extensively throughout the U.K and Europe before settling in Perth. Her tones are earthy and vibrant. Preferred medium is acrylic; her style is abstract and interpretive, her use of textures creates atmosphere on the canvas.
