Over the years Kay has experimented with a wide variety of materials and methods including – gouache, acrylic, oils, water-colour, textiles, jewellery, ceramics, pastel and photography

 
About Kay:
Born on 11th August 1955 in Hornsey, North London, England.A keen zest for life meant Kay would try anything; assistant to Elton John's producer Gus Dudgeon; worked with David Costa, at Jubilee Graphics. Kay joined Eel Pie Publishing, Pete Townsend's publishing company, before joining a professional photographic Lab/Studio in North London.

In the late 1980s Kay moved to Western Australia. During the latter1990s a combination of factors led to Kay’s diagnosis of depression, spending some time at Graylands Hospital which referred her to THE CREATIVE EXPRESSION UNIT, where she began a part-time TAFE course - P.C.A.D. Preliminary Certificate in Art & Design and graduated in June 2001.
